Important things to keep in mind:

All players/cheer: whether your child is new to the program or an established player, keep   them moving and eating right in the off-season!

This is VERY important for the tackle players. All tackle players must make weight in order to participate in games. JR tackle 120 lbs, SR tackle 140lbs. In August the teams participate in a combine where they scrimmage against teams they won't play during the regular season. During this time weigh- ins take place. Please make sure your children are active and eating healthy throughout the year, there should be no excuses come August! It is very disappointing for a child to not make weight. Tackle players will practice in ALL types of weather. Please make sure your child comes prepared for whatever the weather. If a practice or game is to be canceled you will be notified as soon as possible. If you are unsure please don't hesitate to contact your head coach or a team representative.

Flag should be fun and a way for the kids to learn about the sport of football. While practices are not long, the kids will be expected to run and listen. Please make sure the kids come prepared for the weather. All cheerleaders and football players will be expected to participate in all practices and games, in all types of weather. Cheerleaders perform at halftime and on the sidelines. The cheer squad is expected to perform during all games, if a cancellation occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible. Or contact your head coach or team representative.

Cheerleaders are a very important part of our program. The cheerleaders practice usually the   same nights as the players and for the same amount of time. Practice is vital for the cheerleaders to get the proper timing and dance routines. The cheerleaders will participate in all play off and super bowl games.   They may also perform in the annual Cheer Competitions. If practice is canceled you will be notified as soon as possible.

It is very important that all participants bring fluids to all practices and games. Water is the best, sport drinks are not usually necessary but are acceptable. Soda and juice are not recommended. Snacks are not permitted, unless for medical reasons, for cheer and players.

Parents/Guardians

Our roles are to encourage our children to do the best they can at every practice and game. Good sportsmanship is expected from all parents/guardians, coaches, and spectators. Inappropriate language and conduct,   WILL NOT be tolerated and if the offending party does not stop, they will be asked to leave

It is expected that everyone participates in fundraising activities and jobs on game days. Everyone is expected to take a turn in any of the following:   50/50, concession duty (1/2 game), chains (3 people needed), and cleanup. Children   may participate with chain duty as long as one adult is present.   Children under 14   cannot help in concession and children under 18   cannot use the fryer or grill. Repeated failure to participate in fundraising and game duties, may forfeit your child's   position during the games.
